Cheap Cruises: A Great Way to Spend Vacation

Cruises are one of the most popular forms of vacation in the whole world today. Normally, a cruise lasts from three days up to three months. A cruise ranges from economy to the most expensive one.

But are there such things as cheap cruise? The answer for this is yes. Cruise lines can offer their customers with an option that is suitable to their budget. The rate of the cheap cruise normally consist of accommodation, foods and all of the day and night amusements.

Although a cheap cruise does not mean bad service or bad accommodation, most of cruise lines still believe that their customers are all equal; making sure everyone of their clients has the choice to use the ship’s facilities and equipments.

What are the other things included in the cheap cruise?

Normally, the rate of the cheap cruise is consisting of the following list.

• Air travel, transfers from air or sea plan
• The cruise
• All amusements found on the ship
• Meals such as breakfast, lunch and dinner are all included
• Tea and midnight snacks are also offered
• Room services are also provided in most cruises
• Gym, sauna baths, spas, swimming pools and other forms of entertainment

What are the things that you will experience during the trip?

You are allowed to shop on both sea and land. Salons and other beauty centers are also available. In addition, if you like to go on a shore excursion, cruise lines offer it to every one of their clients.

Cheap cruises are also equipped with hydraulic stabilizer that will help lessen the movement of ship due to bad weather. In this way, you will avoid yourself from fainting or from vomiting, ensuring you comfort even on rough seas.

Some cruises are sometimes subject to a slight movement in some places where it travels. However, it is very seldom for a cruise ship to cause any problems except for mild ones. All of these things are normal when traveling on a cruise.

Of course, when you talk about a vacation trip, hints and tips should be associated with it.
Here are some helpful tips when going on a cruise vacation.

1. Cheap cruise like any other cruise, differ greatly in size and structure. There is a cruise ship that can carry 100 passengers for small bodies of water to cruise ships that can accommodate 2,500 passengers for oceans or long voyages.

2. Depending on the rate you pay in the cheap cruises, you have the choice of what room you want, it could be an inside cabin with a usual light or an outside cabin with a big window and a balcony.

3. You should choose the cruise that navigates the place where you want to go. You can choose a cheap cruise that navigates the Caribbean, which is available all throughout the year. Otherwise, you can opt for a cheap Cruise to Alaska during summer.

4. You can bring an overnight bag to spend your night at the beach. Your baggage is usually collected the day before you the ship departs from ports. This means, if you still want to experience the sea at night, you have to bring with you your extra clothing and other necessities.

5. If you chose a cruise that only circulates in one country, it is still wise that you should bring your passport along for your identification purposes.

6. Cheap cruises are informal during the day, but there are night affairs that will require you to wear dresses so, bring or rent formal clothes along.

7. Onboard amusements are included in the price of the cheap cruise, but day trips and other beach events might be an additional cost.

8. Bring with you your travel insurance. Cheap cruise companies will not be liable for any lost or damage belongings.

9. There are cheap cruises that will let you look around the ships before you book your trip. Use it to determine the quality of the cruise.

Following these tips will ensure you a satisfying vacation that will meet your expectations. However, you have to keep in mind that a cheap cruise, as with any other vacation, should give you maximum relaxation and comfort. Besides, a vacation should be a form of relaxation not a source of stress.

4 Tips For Finding A Great Cruise At A Good Price

One of the most relaxing vacations you can take right now is an ocean cruise. Many people have the belief that a cruise will cost them more than they can afford, but there are some good tips that can help you get the cruise you want at a price that fits your budget.

1: Cruise ships have set itineraries so they want their ships to be at full capacity each time they leave the port. If you schedule your cruise vacation for the off season you can save as much as 50% of the cost during peak season. Keep a close eye on last minute deals too. Many cruise lines will offer much lower prices to sell those remaining spots instead of setting sail with them unsold.

2: Take the time to look at everything a cruise package is offering you. Most of them are all inclusive meaning everything on the ship is included in one price. Yet there are many amenities that you won’t be using you are throwing your money away. Look for a cruise that only offers the items you will be likely to use.

3: When you book your cruise you will be offered many different options for your accommodations. The more room you have and the nicer they are, the more expensive they will be. Yet on a cruise most people only spend time in their room to sleep and shower. You can save a great deal of money going with more basic accommodations.

4: If you can get a large group of people to book the same cruise, you will likely be able to save 15% or 20%. A group in generally considered 20 people or more. The entire group will get the discount on the portion they are responsible to pay. Make sure you find out which cruise line can offer you the best deal before you commit to one.

Cruising – Five Quick Tips Before Taking A Cruise Ship Vacation

Cruising – Five Quick Tips Before Taking A Cruise Ship Vacation

Cruising is a wonderful and relaxed way to see several countries while enjoying the sun. Today, cruise trips are extremely popular due to their low cost and luxury travel experience.

However, like all travelling, there are a few things you need to be aware of before you start to plan your cruise ship vacation.

Here are some cruise tips to help guide you on your journey.

1.All inclusive cruises are not available

Most all cruise lines do not offer an all inclusive cruise package. Alcohols, soft drinks and even water all needs to be paid for when on cruise ships. The only things included are the cruise itself, your cabin and generally at least 1-2 meals a day.

2.Shop around and consult different cruise travel agents

Cruise travel agents are like travel agents, but are experts in cruising. Be prepared to tell the cruise agent exactly what you are looking for. You could visit 5 different agencies and receive 5 different quotes for the same cruise. In addition, look for deals in off weeks. A fare may be 00 one week and 0 the following week.

3.Be aware of added charges

If you are planning to cruise alone and don’t want to share your cabin, you can anticipate a single’s supplement charge of 10% to 100% of a per person’s rate (depending on cruise line). In addition, a lot of cruises require you to pay extra for any cruise shore excursions, or any special activities that are offered on board. Be prepared to spend an additional 30% of the cost to take part in any of these activities.

4.Knowing when the best time to cruise is

Cruising is usually a little cheaper during the spring or fall. Weather can be uncertain, especially in the fall given many Caribbean destinations could have hurricane seasons during this time. This is something to watch out for. The dry season for Caribbean cruises is during the summer where as the rainy season is during the winter. Other cruise lines have short cruising seasons, such as Alaska cruises which normally run from May to September.

5.Have fun!

One of the most important tips that I can give to you on your cruise ship vacation is to have a great time. Relax! After all it’s your vacation and you deserve to make the most out of it. There are many things for you to do, fancy dinners and dressing up, meeting new friends, visiting exotic locations, being on deck in the sun, doing cruise shore excursions, and much more! It’s important to have fun, so when you come back you feel better about yourself and that you got the most out of your time and money.

Remember, cruising is an absolutely exceptional way to spend your vacation. They are very relaxing and a very enjoyable way to spend some time away. However, like all vacations, you need to know what is required before purchasing your dream cruise ship vacation. Keep this in mind and I have no doubt your cruise trip will be a complete success!

Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas 5 Day Cruise to Belize & Cozumel

Hola, Amigos!

My family and I had the opportunity to go on this amazing five day cruise to Belize and Cozumel on Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas. This is a huge and beautiful newly renovated ship. Liberty of the Seas is packed with fun sports and activities such as: H2O Zone water park for children, pools, ice skating rink, FlowRider (which is an on board wave generator for surfing), rock climbing, and an outdoor poolside movie screen. It also offers a great unique feature called DreamWorks Experience, which includes character meet and greets, character parades, and much more.

We departed from Fort Lauderdale. It took us almost an hour to embark; there was a lot of traffic, and the line for security was pretty long. Once inside the ship, we were very impressed with the glamorous architecture and beauty of the ship. Our room had a nice size balcony and it was beautiful and clean.

One of the neat features of Liberty is the Royal Promenade on deck 5, which is four decks high and runs almost the whole length of the ship. Here you can find a wide selection of restaurants and entertainment.  All kinds of activities take place at the Royal Promenade, including daily parades with the Dream Works characters, the Captain’s Welcome Reception, nightly DJ music, a 70’s party, and many other events.

This ship offers many food varieties and many places to go for snacks. Windjammer Restaurant was good for breakfast and lunch; they have a huge selection of food. A few other times we had also room service for breakfast, and it was pretty good as well. For dinner, we went to Botticelli restaurant, but I wasn’t too crazy about the food here. Cafe Promenade and Sorrento’s Pizza at the Royal Promenade are both great for meals, snacks, and desserts.

During the day I spent some time at the pool and I also tried to keep myself in shape by going to the fitness center every morning. The pools are very spacious and the main pool has a big screen where family-friendly activities including games, contests, and enrichment classes take place. There are a bunch of nice hot tubs to soak in and relax as well. The fitness center is huge and is filled with a wide variety of equipment. You can also enjoy the sauna and steam rooms and take advantage of the many fitness opportunities including: yoga, Pilates, spin classes, boot camp, and other classes. Some classes were free, some had additional fees.

The evenings were very fun; we tried not to miss any event. There were amazing shows, good music at the lounges, and a very active casino. Bolero Lounge, which played Latin music every night, was our favorite place to sit, dance, and have a couple of drinks. One night, we went to watch The Ice Show, and it was fantastic. We also enjoyed watching a Saturday Night Fever show which had professional sets and very good singing. There was also an aerial show, and it was wonderful to watch as well. All the shows and parties where super fun!

To  add some adventure to our trip, we booked shore excursions for Belize and Cozumel prior to our cruise. We decided to do the  “Goff Caye Beach Break with Snorkeling” in Belize and the “Jeep and Beach Adventure Sail and Snorkle” at Cozumel. The shore excursion at both places were amazing!

Once we arrived to Belize, we boarded a comfortable power boat that took us to to the Goff Caye Beach. The island is an unspoiled beautiful paradise with blue crystal water. Here, we did snorkeling with a guide and we were able to see many tropical fish and beautiful coral. This was a great place to lay back, relax, and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Our Cozumel shore excursion “Jeep and Beach Adventure Sail and Snorkel” included: sightseeing, swimming, snorkeling, and a taste of Mexican cuisine. After we arrived at Cozumel, we meet with our tour guide and we were assigned a manual Jeep to drive. We had a tour guide and we drove our own Jeep through the beautiful scenic island. The first stop was at this ecological reserve at Punta Sur State Refuge. We visited a small Mayan ruin and also saw the Columbia Lagoon, which is a saltwater natural environment for crocodiles. Then we headed to Punta Celarain Light House. Here, I enjoyed the magnificent view from the top of the light house. After that, we went to the crystal-clear blue water to relax, swim and snorkel, and then stop for delicious Mexican fajitas. Our final bonus was to stop at the tequila factory for a tour and tequila testing. Best tequila I ever tried!

Overall, the experience and the service were beyond what we expected. The ship is beautiful with many fun activities and the staff is  incredible. It definitely was well worth it.

Don’t forgot to make your experience even more amazing by booking your shore excursions. Visit our shore excursions page now – we offer many adventures from which to chose.
